- The Ethical Agent Network was announced in September 2023 and launched on 4 March 2024, with twenty five founding members and an advisory team of eight practising agency owners.
- There are currently 36 member agencies, all independent, each trading under its own name.
- Membership is by application against published criteria and is held on condition. It can be taken away, and the eight promises are agreed in full or not at all.
- The Karma Club, which match funds what members give to causes in their own towns, started in September 2019 and is older than the network by more than four years. It belongs to the Estate Agent Content Club rather than to the network.
- The network is not a franchise, not a portal and not a regulator. Every member agency is independently owned.
